Plot.
A rich girl to get rid of the haunting presence of a lover, whom she does not want, assumes an unfortunate young man who has lost everything at the game table, paying him to make himself look like her husband. This contract should last for the whole month of April, ended the month the two young people, instead of leaving, really get married.

A Husband for the Month of April (Italian: Un marito per il mese di aprile) is a 1941 Italian "white-telephones" comedy film directed by Giorgio Simonelli and starring Vanna Vanni, Carlo Romano and Pina Renzi.It was shot at the Cinecittà Studios in Rome. The film's sets were designed by the art director Alfredo Montori.
