Plot.
A prosperous but lonely businessman has suicidal thoughts as his 60th birthday approaches. Then, he runs into his college sweetheart. Her mesmerizing beauty, poise and silence suddenly personify his vacuum of last 30 years. He was oblivious to his soul mate's shocking yesteryear's. The film stars Amol Palekar and Sharmila Tagore in titular roles alongside Radhika Apte, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Kishore Kadam, Aishwarya Narkar, Makarand Deshpande and Vandana Gupte in pivotal roles. Palekar's previous film in the dual role of actor and director was Ankahee (1985).
