The Ordonnance was directed by Viktor Tourjansky. Guy de Maupassant's story The Waiter was published in 1887 on Gil Blas and later included in the collection The Left Hand. Fernandel, Jean Worms and datememe datememe datememe were used in the new L'Ordonance, film of 1933.
