Plot.

The lover of the Liberator is a film written and directed by Roco Llad. In the years 1820-1821 it takes place in the present and during the independence of Peru. The film focuses on the participation of women in historical processes and the struggle of ordinary people. The film was shown at a film festival. It had its commercial premiere in Spain in 2016 and in Peru at the end of the year.
