Wiki.
Oceano is a 1971 film, directed by the director Folco Quilici. The film tells of the adventure of a young Polynesian named Tanai who, with his fragile boat, goes in search of the island of his dreams, peace and serenity, in which to plant the tree of bread that very emblematically carries with it on board, but that shipwrecks at the end of various adventures rich of pathos on the Antarctic polar bench, where it is saved by a scientist of a US base. The film, based on a Polynesian legend, constitutes an opportunity to show the evocative beauties of Polynesia and its flora and those of the Pacific Ocean and its aquatic fauna.
