Plot.
The Panamericana is a road that connects two continents and twelve countries. On the 15,000 km of the original historical route between Laredo (Mexico) and Buenos Aires (Argentina), people are met with their fates, regulations, life content and hopes. Like a needle, the longest road in the world drills from north to south. The intriguing, contrasting and informative documentary shows intimate and touching moments - authentic, natural, close and moving. It takes the viewer on a journey through different cultures, where one's own existence often depends only on a few cents. The film illustrates the thinking of the Latin American population, which can often bring the unpainted reality to the point in a single sentence. It shows neither staged scenes, nor chases after tourist attractions.
