L'Étrange Monsieur Joseph is a 90-minute French film directed in 2001 by Josée Dayan and screened by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt according to the book by Alphonse Boudard. It is about the person of Joseph Joanovici, French of Jewish origin, very rich, who helped so much the Resistance that he was convicted for collaboration with the Nazi occupier.
