Schattenstund is a film drama by Benjamin Martins, which is to celebrate its premiere at the Filmfest München in July 2021. It is a film biography about the last hours of life of the evangelical writer and song author Jochen Klepper, who was driven into suicide by the National Socialists together with his Jewish wife, who lived in a so-called mixed marriage, and their daughter. The film is based on the diary entries of Klepper, which were published posthumously by his sister as a book.
