Wiki.
The Wizard of Malta is a short film directed in 1981 by Alex Roshuk but entirely scripted and imagined by the American artist Douglas Davis. This film is a work of art, more precisely a collage of Hollywood feature films from the 1930s to 1960s, including John Huston's Maltese Falcon but also Victor Fleming's Wizard of Oz and Alfred Hitchcock's Psychosis, with an original script. Douglas Davis, paying tribute to his way in American cinema classics, questions the combination of the past and the recent one in art. Actress Diane Keaton has agreed to lend his voice to the narrative of the short film.
