The Rivero leave on holiday, leaving in Madrid his daughter Ana (Brondo), who is preparing oppositions, and Grandpa Ricardo (Manuel Alexandre), who leads to a residence. There, Ricardo, will soon become a friend of Andrés (López Vázquez), his roommate. Together they will evoke tender and fun episodes of his youth. But, as the summer passes, Alzheimer's disease will increasingly haunt Ricardo.
