Plot.
Hansgeorg is on the best way to become a naïve mother's son. At least this is what his mother fears, an aging doctor's widow. In order to give her supposedly inexperienced son the opportunity to gain experience in dealing with women, she sends him to her brother Christoph, a true female connoisseur. When Hansgeorg introduces his mother to his two-year-old son and his mother, the surprise is great."

It was adapted by Erich Kästner from his own play.It was shot at the Spandau Studios in Berlin and on location around Munich in Bavaria. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Hans Jürgen Kiebach and Ernst Schomer.
