Timothy Burrill (born 8 June 1931 in St Asaph, Denbighshire) is a Welsh film producer. Prior to working in the film business, Burrill worked in the port city of Birkenhead in the shipping industry. After several years, he decided to work in the field of filmmaking, especially for documentaries.In the early 1960s, he initially worked in production management for film and especially television. From 1967, he was an associate producer in feature films, from the mid 1970s onwards, as an independent producer and primarily co-producer. His work comprises about three dozen productions, most recently in 2019 he was involved in Playmobil: The film.He was closely associated with director and co-producer Roman Polański for decades.At the Oscar ceremony in 1981 Burrill was nominated for Tess for the Oscar in the category Best Film together with Claude Berri.
