Plot.
On a small coastal town, a light-keeper lives in total seclusion after his wife's passing. His daughter is also there and she becomes his only contact with the other locals, and when a helper is sent to assist him on duties, she asks a childhood friend of hers to marry her, so he can be appointed as her father's helper.
