Until the marriage separates us (A debate on the freedom of the Spanish couple) is a film released on March 11, 1977, directed by Pedro Lazaga, with script by José Luis Dibildos and Antonio Mingote, according to the approaches of the so-called "third way" of Spanish cinema. For the film critic of the newspaper ABC Pedro Crespo, it is "an interesting film, with a nice invoice, well photographed – with original and suitable exteriors – that addresses seriously, but without beard, an important theme for Spanish society today." In the context of the national political situation of the second half of the 70s, it premiered one year after the death of Franco, three months after the general elections of June 1977 and four years before the adoption of the Divorce Act of 1981.As for the "scenes de détrape", peculiar to the last stage of Lazaga (f. 1979), stand out the partial nudes of Ann (Roxanne Bach) and, above all of Sandra Luis (Sanza) (Marges).
