Two American soldiers get a one-week license to spend in Rome. During the trip they get to know a young teacher who also goes to Rome to ask for help for her war-torn country. One of the soldiers wanders over the girl who, although not indifferent to his court, maintains a proper reservoir. Some circumstances due to the mission that the woman has to carry out in the city, generate misunderstandings between the two. But in the end, when the American, who has expired the license, has to return to the front, goes to the mistress and the affair ends with a promise of marriage.
