The film focuses on Hofer's early life within the community, and what eventually forced him to leave and move to Calgary in 2012.The film was released online through the Telus Optik Local platform in Alberta, before being released to YouTube later in the year. The film was also nominated for several awards through the Canadian Screen Awards in 2017 following its release.
