José Maylli, the grandson of an old peasant woman, commits the crime of stealing cattle for three times, this act is taken as an affront by the community members who proceed to capture the abysmal, torture and mass justice, finally condemn him to leave and never return, under penalty of death. However, once in the city, Maylli plunged into sadness, does not resign to expulsion, two forces attract him to his land: his grandmother and his hut, then decides to take the trip carrying gifts and a preventive weapon.
