Plot.
The animated film, directed by Waclaw Kondek, puts together living sacred figures with elements of animated nature. The director is an artist, stage designer in puppet theatres and a creator of animated films for children and adults. Larghetto is a film about art that pays tribute to folk wooden sacred carvings and the tradition of making Nativities. The title of the film comes from the name of the tempo of a musical piece (in Italian, larghetto means slow) and the 2nd part of the Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 piece composed by Fryderyk Chopin and performed by Vladimir Ashkenazy.
