A lie is a declaration of someone who believes or suspects that is entirely or partially false and expects people to believe it, so the truth can be entirely or partialy hidden. Fictions, even when they are false, are not regarded as lies. Malena and Lucas maintain a dead relationship neither is willing to end for different reasons.
