Plot.
Elsa is a rich and mature widow and has two children, Franca and Giorgetto. Bruno is at her service as a driver. Both the mother and the daughter come in sympathy with the young driver, who thinks of both as possible wives, but does not know how to decide. There is then Gina, owner of a driver, who is about to separate from her husband. Together with Giorgetto, Bruno finds herself following another girl, commissioned by the Renaissance Mariuccia, that's her name, is a poor and serious girl: Bruno tries us a bit by game, a bit by challenge towards Giorgetto, who had not managed to conquer her, but ends up in love with her seriously and to marry her. She will become a driver of the square, like her father.
