Plot.
Usha, a well-educated girl, is married to Kumar by her drunkard father. Being illiterate, Kumar gets jealous of Usha's education and her frank nature. He abuses her and she leaves their home and begins to battle for women's right. She gives birth to a son and starts to work in a factory, where male workers start to dominate her.
