Luciana is a neglected wife of a famous surgeon. She is forced to leave alone for the holidays in Tunisia but the flight is forced to a bitterness of luck. While the passengers are picked up by a ship the woman remains in the aircraft where she is cared for by the pilot with whom, once returned to Italy, she begins an affective relationship. The husband discovers the understanding but after having cured the injured rival in a plane accident manages to reconcile with the wife.
