The fiction tells the story of the Puglia singer Domenico Modugno, performed by Giuseppe Fiorello. The fiction went on air on Rai 1 on February 18 and 19, 2013.The fiction was officially presented to the public by the protagonist actor Giuseppe Fiorello, on the occasion of the second evening of the 63rd edition of the Festival of Sanremo, where the actor was a guest. The film won the 2013 Real TV Award as best fiction.
