High Society is a 2017 German feature film by Anika Decker. The romantic mix-up and culture-clash comedy is about the spoiled industrial daughter Anabel von Schlacht, portrayed by Emilia Schüle, who after a scandal learns that shortly after birth she was confused with the Aura Schlonz, who grew up in significantly poorer conditions, played by Caro Cult, and is actually the oldest child of a cashier. Jannis Niewöhner, Iris Berben, Katja Riemann and Jannik Schümann play further roles.The comedy was realized by the Hellinger Doll film production. Decker and her production company Decker Bros as well as Warner Bros Pictures Germany have once again appeared as a co-producer. The filming of their second production took place in Berlin from August to October 2016. The film was launched in German cinemas on 14 September 2017. After its release, the production polarized strongly among critics. The total number of visitors amounted to around 577,000. Schüle was nominated for her performance in the following year for the Bambi in the category "Actress National".
