Plot.
The Adamant is a unique day-care centre. A floating structure located on the Seine in the heart of Paris, it welcomes adults suffering from mental disorders, offering the kind of care that grounds them in time and space and helps them to recover or keep up their spirits. The team running it tries to resist the deterioration and dehumanisation of psychiatry as best as they can.

On the Adamant (French: Sur l'Adamant) is a 2023 French-language documentary film directed by Nicolas Philibert. The work portrays the floating structure L'Adamant Day Center, located on the Seine river in Paris. The structure is a special daycare center for the treatment of adults with mental disorders.
It won the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on 24 February 2023. The film was also nominated for the Berlinale Documentary Film Award. It was released in French cinemas on 19 April 2023.
