Plot.
After serving a two-year stretch in the slammer, thief Shyam Singh (Bobby Deol) returns to his secret hiding place to retrieve a priceless stolen diamond, only to discover that the site has become a police precinct. To gain entry, Shyam masquerades as a cop but soon arouses the suspicions of a fellow officer (Om Puri). Director David Dhawan's action comedy also stars Bipasha Basu, Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty.

Chor Machaye Shor (transl. Thief Makes Noise) is a 2002 Indian Hindi action comedy film. The film is directed by David Dhawan and stars Bobby Deol, Shilpa Shetty, and Bipasha Basu in the main leads while Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajat Bedi, and Rajpal Yadav play supporting roles. The plot of this film is copied from the 1999 Hollywood film Blue Streak (which itself is a remake of the 1965 British film The Big Job).
