Itaker - Forbidden to Italians is a 2012 Italian film directed by Toni Trupia and performed among others by Francesco Scianna, Michele Placido and Romanian actress Monica Bîrlădeanu. The film, the director's second feature film, recounts the emigration of Italians to Germany in 1960. Itaker (could translate Italians) is a derogatory term used by Germans against Italians who emigrated to Germany.
