Yellow Cherries is an Austrian film from the year 2000. The film was directed by Leopold Lummerstorfer. The production was financed by the Austrian Film Institute, the Vienna Film Fund, the ORF and the cultural funding institutes of the federal states of Upper Austria and Lower Austria. The film premiered on 23 October 2000 at the Viennale Film Festival, took part in the film festival Max Ophüls Prize in January 2001 and was shown in Austrian cinemas from the end of February 2001.
