Hausfrauen-Report is the name of a sex film from 1971 and a subsequent series of six German films, which appeared from 1971 to 1978. It is a variant of the more successful film series Schulmädchen-Report (see Report-Film). How these films deal with sexual content (in the style of alleged reports) with nuances of social/political criticism and represent these only hinted at. Eberhard Schröder directed the first film of the series (1971), actors included Angelika Baumgart, Ulrike Butz and Elisabeth Volkmann. The premiere took place on 18 June 1971. The film reached about 3.5 million viewers in the Federal Republic of Germany.
