The New Protocol is a French suspense film by Thomas Vincent released in March 2008 in France. It is the third feature film by director Thomas Vincent, after Karnaval and Je am a murderer. It is produced by Mandarin Films and distributed by Studiocanal. According to an original idea by Éric Besnard, the film focuses on Raoul Kraft, a logger who has just lost his son in a road accident. After learning that he was a volunteer for clinical trials, he decides to conduct the investigation, together with a young woman struggling against the drifts of the pharmaceutical industry. Seeking answers to this tragedy, they find themselves, themselves, threatened and hunted down.
