Lainie Wheeler is a Canadian film directed by Morrie Ruvinsky and aired in 2003.Lainie Wheeler has just moved out of a rehabilitation centre where she had been interned for drug abuse. The young woman was, in fact, addicted to narcotics because of her work. Emotionally fragile, Lainie was less and less able to see the suffering and death of the people for whom she worked in a hospice. Now restored, Lainie is ready to go back on the right foot and find her two daughters, placed in a foster family during her absence. But it's not too late to tip. As she returns home after her first day of work, Lainie breaks down on a country road. A few minutes later, a motorist offers her help. This is Harry Brewer, a famous baseball player. Lainie agrees to accompany her to an isolated castle in order to call a convenience store.
