Plot.
The Vanishing Hitchhiker is a 2020 Italian horror-supranatural-dramatic short film, written, directed and edited by Rosario Brucato. Various themes are intertwined in the film such as motherly love, kindness, supernatural, premature death and the suspense that dominates in the film following the other themes. The film is freely based on the famous underground legend of L'autostoppista phantom. Franz meets a young and mysterious driver who claims to have had a breakdown in the car. After some hesitation, Franz accepts and accompanies her home.
