Plot.
When a young couple goes to a remote wooded lake for a romantic getaway, their quiet weekend is shattered by an aggressive group of local kids. Rowdiness quickly turns to rage as the teens terrorize the couple in unimaginable ways, and a weekend outing becomes a bloody battle for survival.

Eden Lake is a 2008 British horror thriller film written and directed by James Watkins in his directorial debut, and starring Kelly Reilly, Michael Fassbender and Jack O'Connell. The plot follows a young couple spending their romantic weekend at a remote lake, where they are confronted and hunted by a group of hostile youths.
It is among a group of roughly contemporaneous films that deal with concerns over "Broken Britain" and a fear of "hoodies". Some of the close up scenes were filmed at Frensham Small Pond.
