Plot.
A happy-go-lucky engineering student lives with his family in Bangladesh and has fun with his friends. One day, he gets into a fracas with a local politician and his henchmen while trying to save his friend, where he gets arrested and has a case registered against him. The local court gives him a conditional bail, provided that he signs the register in a police station. On the way to the police station, he sees a college girl and falls in love with her. The police station, where he has to sign daily, is handled by his uncle, whose ex-lover is the constable at the station. He kindles his uncle's love life and makes merry at the girl's college, leading to funny situations.

Jaan Kurbaan (Bengali: জান কোরবান; English: Life Sacrifice) is a 2011 Bengali romantic action film directed by M B Manik. The film is produced by Mehdi Hasan Siddiki Monir and features Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas in the lead roles. It also has Nuton, Ali Raj, Afzal Sharif, Harun Kisinger, Ilias Kobra, Shiba Shanu and Misha Sawdagor in supporting roles. Jaan Kurbaan was released on Eid, 31 August 2011.
The film was a remake of 2007 Tamil language film Malaikottai starring Vishal & Priyamani.
