Phoenixes (French: Phénix) is a Canadian drama film, directed by Jonathan Beaulieu-Cyr and released in 2024. Set in the 2000s, the film stars Maxime Genois as Joël, a soldier in the Canadian military who takes on a role coaching his son Jacob's (Aksel Leblanc) soccer team in a bid to bond with his son before he is deployed to the War in Afghanistan later in the year.
The cast also includes Evelyne Brochu as Joël's wife and Jacob's mother Michelle, as well as Alexandre Landry and Rosemarie Sabor in supporting roles.
