Plot.
An exploration of post-Sept. 11 racism, this drama set in New York centers on Indian immigrant Baldev (Farokh Daruwala), whose boss vents his hatred of South Asians on him. Having just lost his brother as a result of hate crime, Baldev takes his boss hostage. Baldev's actions could land him in jail and result in deportation, but it's a chance he's willing to take to be heard. Murtuza Sabir and Asha Patel co-star.
