Biography
Tutta Rolf, born Solveig Jenny Berntzen, was a Norwegian-Swedish stage and screen actress and singer. She made her stage debut in Kristiania/Oslo in 1923 and five years later in Sweden, promoted by Swedish writer/entertainer/performer Ernst Rolf. In the 30's she became a film star in elegant comedies and was contracted for Fox Film in 1935. Tutta Rolf was married three times, firstly to Swedish Ernst Rolf (1930–1932) and then to American director Jack Donohue (1936–1950) and finally to Swedish director/actor Hasse Ekman (1953–1972).
