
Biography
Claude Léveillée (born 16 October 1932 in Montreal – Saint-Benoit-de-Mirabel, 9 June 2011) is an actor, pianist and composer-songwriter from Quebec, who makes his mark on his generation. He bequeaths more than 400 songs, many instrumental music and a few musicals.Claude Léveillée is co-founder of the group Les Bozos, in 1959, the year he met Edith Piaf. For her, he has composed a few songs (including Les Vieux pianos, Ouragan, Boulevard du crime). He then composes for several Quebec singers, including Julie Arel (Thank you in 1976) and Nicole Martin (He is in us love in 1985 as well as My father and mother and On will love in 1987). He performed in France and the Soviet Union (USS), as well as in Belgium, Switzerland and up to Japan. He is also an actor (in particular in La Ligne de démarcation, in 1966, and in the Scoop series from 1991 to 1994).
