Biography

Risto Vaidla (born June 29, 1993 in Kärdla) is an Estonian actor.


In 2016, he graduated from the XXVII flight of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater School of Performing Arts, majoring in acting (course supervisors Peeter Raudsepp and Katariina Unt).


Since 2019, Risto Vaidla has been working as an actor in the Estonian Youth Theater. He has also taken part in the productions of Theatrum, Teatri Kelm, VAT Theatre, Kuressaare City Theater and Endla.


In films, his most significant role has been in Sulev Keedus's film "Manslayer/Virgin/Shadow" (2017), where he played Heino Moss in the short story "Virgin". He played Rasmus Uber in the TV3 drama series "Kättemaksukontor" in 2016-2017. In Tanel Toomi's feature film "Truth and Justice", he played the son of Andres and Krõõt.
