Biography
Scott Cooper (born April 20, 1970) is an American writer-director and former actor. His directorial career began with the award-winning "Crazy Heart" (2009), starring Jeff Bridges. He has gone on to write and direct such films as "Out of the Furnace" (2013) and "Hostiles" (2017), both starring Christian Bale, and "Black Mass" (2015), starring Johnny Depp.
