Biography
David Kagen (born September 27, 1948) is an American film and television actor, best known for his performance of Sheriff Michael Garris in the 1986 horror film Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. Kagen was born and raised in Somers Point, New Jersey. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and founded his own acting school, David Kagen's School of Film Acting, located in Studio City, California. He also studied piano at Juilliard School.
