Gerald Ogando

Gerald Ogando is a Dominican stand-up comedian, singer, composer, actor, and radio show host. His radio show won the Soberano award for comedian of the year in the Dominican Republic in 2022.His dynamic way of presenting stand-up comedy and his creativity in composing and writing parodies of current events and politics, added to his facet as a singer, and led him to create the show called "Gerald Ogando show man, a band with humor" (Spanish: Gerald Ogando show man, una banda con humor) thus becoming the first Dominican comedian to perform with a musical orchestra. His style of comedic performance resembles that of the Latin American comedians Les Luthiers of Argentina and the emblematic comedian and former Venezuelan presidential candidate, Er Conde Guacharo.
