Biography
Anatoly Genrikhovich Naiman (Russian: Анатолий Генрихович Найман; 23 April 1936 – 21 January 2022) was a Russian poet, translator and writer. He was one of the four Akhmatova's Orphans. Born on 23 April 1936 in Leningrad, Naiman was a graduate of the Leningrad Technological Institute and was a fellow at Oxford University and the Kennan Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center.He died in Moscow on 21 January 2022, at the age of 85. He suffered a stroke few days prior to his death.
