Biography
Yura Yunita (born Yunita Rachman on June 9, 1991) is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, and music producer. She is known for her soulful voice and emotionally profound lyrics.
Yura gained widespread recognition after releasing her debut album, Yura (2014), produced by Glenn Fredly. The album established her name in the Indonesian music industry with songs like "Cinta dan Rahasia" and "Balada Sirkus".
She has also won numerous awards, including the AMI Awards, and was named Best Asian Artist Indonesia at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2022.
Beyond being a singer, Yura Yunita has also ventured into film by contributing as a soundtrack performer and composer, including : "Jalan Pulang" β Soundtrack for the film Jalan yang Jauh, Jangan Lupa Pulang (2023) and "Dunia Tipu-Tipu" β Featured in various film and series productions.
With her distinctive musical style and heartfelt lyrics, Yura Yunita continues to be one of the most influential female musicians in Indonesia.
