Biography
Frank Hall Crane (January 1, 1873 β September 1, 1948) was an American stage and film actor and director. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1909 and 1939. He also directed 48 films between 1914 and 1927. His first screen writing included The Stolen Voice in 1915. He was born in San Francisco, California.
His wife Irene Crane appeared in many of his films and was still alive when he died in 1948.Crane died on September 1, 1948, at the Motion Picture Country Home Hospital in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, aged 75.
