Biography
Lawrence Chenault (November 23, 1877 β December 27, 1943) was an American vaudeville performer and silent film actor. He appeared in approximately 24 films between years 1920 and 1934; most of his performances were in films directed by pioneering African-American filmmaker Oscar Micheaux. His brother, Jack Chenault (September 26, 1888 β May 22, 1925), was also a film actor.
