S.M Sumsur Rahman (Bengali: এস.এম সুমসুর রহমান) known as Shamsur Rahman Alvy, is a passionate and reliable Senior Freelance Executive Producer with over sixteen years of experience in advertising, film, and independent filmmaking. He is a true gem when it comes to problem-solving and management, possessing exceptional leadership qualities and a cool-headed personality. He began his professional career in audio-visual production in 2008, initially working as an Assistant Director and collaborating with many leading advertising companies. Over the years, he has worked on over 200 ads, more than 10 fictional narratives, two mainstream films (*Live From Dhaka* and *Fatima*), and *Coke Studio Bangla*. His debut feature film, *Live From Dhaka*, garnered Best Director and Best Actor awards at the Singapore Film Festival and created significant buzz across generations. He has a sharp eye for detail, never compromises his vision, and consistently brings an enthusiastic charm to his work. With an acute sense of observation and a preference for tackling challenges, he believes that visual acuity is often forged from difficult circumstances.
