Biography
Éva Zsurzs was a distinguished Hungarian film director and screenwriter, renowned for her adaptations of literary works. She was a founding member of Magyar Televízió (Hungarian Television) and directed over 100 television films and plays. Her notable works include A koppányi aga testamentuma (1967), Barbárok (1966), and Különös házasság (1984). Zsurzs's contributions significantly shaped Hungarian television and film, earning her the Kossuth and Jászai Mari awards, as well as the titles of Meritorious Artist and Outstanding Artist.
