Biography
Mariella Trejos Benítez (22 July 1948 – 27 August 2023) was a Colombian-Peruvian actress. She participated in movies, musicals, recitals and theater, as well as in several Peruvian telenovelas, including Torbellino, Carmín, Simplemente María, Asi es la vida and Al fondo hay sitio.
With a career spanning more than fifty years, the Ministry of Culture recognized her as a Meritorious Personality of Culture for her valuable contribution to the Peruvian theater.
