Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a barrister and politician in British India. A prominent historical figure during the final two decades of British Raj, Jinnah became the founder of Pakistan on 14 August 1947. Serving as the leader of the All-India Muslim League, he demanded the partition of India and the creation of a separate Muslim-majority state. After the inception of the Dominion of Pakistan, he served as the nation's first Governor-General, until his death a year later.
